Thanks everyone for being part of the major event debut of Quarry Road Recreation Area.

Friday - Open Training

Saturday - 5K classic interval start for women followed by 10K classic interval start for men.

Sunday - 15K skate mass start for women followed by 20K skate mass start for men.

This is the first FIS event held at Quarry Road trails in Waterville, Maine. All events will be held on our 5K FIS-homologated race loop.

In the event of poor natural snow conditions, events will be held on our 3.3K snowmaking loop.

To find the venue, just type "Quarry Road, Waterville, ME" into Google Maps. The map will show a dead-end road... the driveway to the venue begins at the dead-end.

Please note that this venue is not the same as the Bond Brook venue in Augusta used for 2011's Colby Carnival and this year's Eastern Cup events.

Right now the plan is to host all races on our 3.3k snowmaking loop. We will evaluate the 5K loop one final time tomorrow (Friday) to decide if we'll use it for the long mass start on Sunday.
